You're already a step ahead
Talking to your clinician means you can start collecting the two documents your insurance provider needs.
Your next step: collect both medical documents
The first is your prescription (Rx). Your clinician documents your loved one's safety needs, so if that visit already happened, ask for a copy of the prescription.
The second is the letter of medical necessity (LMN). If your appointment is behind you, this is the next document to gather. It explains why a Cubby Bed is medically necessary for your loved one.
Requirements vary by state. A few states require the LMN to come from an occupational or physical therapist (OT/PT) instead of a physician, so check your state's specifics before you request it.
