For more information, check out the FAQ section below.

Find a local branch using our locator above. Some suppliers may service up to 100 miles, so use the +/- to zoom out if you are unable to find one near you. If the list is long, simply scroll through the contacts to see more options.

FAQs

To move forward with insurance coverage for your Cubby Bed, you'll need a prescription for a Cubby Safety Bed from your doctor, and a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN), which can be provided by your doctor or an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Physical Therapist (PT) if you have one.

Make sure to complete the following steps:

  1. Schedule an appointment with your doctor.
  2. Download the Required Documents and provide it to your doctor, who will complete the necessary forms.
  3. Request the prescription and Letter of Medical Necessity.

Once you have both documents, you can connect with a Medical Supplier to proceed with the insurance process!

A Medical Supplier is a company that provides medical equipment for home use. Just like a pharmacy requires a prescription for medicine, a Medical Supplier often requires a prescription to provide medical devices, including safety beds like the Cubby. Beyond providing the equipment, Medical Suppliers play a crucial role in helping you navigate the insurance process.

Partnering with a Medical Supplier is important because they specialize in navigating the complex insurance process with you.

Medical Suppliers typically offer the following services:

  • Working with Your Insurance: Medical Suppliers communicate directly with your insurance company to ensure that all necessary steps are taken for coverage.

  • Conducting Evaluations: Some Medical Suppliers may provide home evaluations to determine your needs, though this varies by Supplier.

  • Managing Paperwork and Submissions: They handle all the paperwork and submission processes required by your insurance, ensuring that everything is filed correctly.

  • Coordinating Delivery and Setup: Your Medical Supplier will also arrange for the delivery and setup of the bed.

As the manufacturer of the Cubby Bed, we're here to support you, but your chosen Medical Supplier will be your primary partner in navigating the insurance process. They handle most of the logistics, including insurance communication, bed delivery, and setup.

At Cubby Beds, we're still here to guide you through the journey with helpful resources and personal assistance, so please feel free to contact us at Hello@CubbyBeds.com if you have questions.
