My little one has slept all night. She is not so defiant in the day. I have slept all night. She's enclosed and I dont have to worry about her getting out of bed and getting into things at night. She wakes up happy. I didn't realize how much lack sleep can cause harm to you but now no worries.

Very helpful in keeping my child safe and secured at night and when having sensory overload

Before the cubby bed: He used to fight us every night at bedtime about sleeping in his own bed and he would stay up for hours before falling asleep, sometimes he would be up all night long. I would worry about what he was getting into. He would hit his head on the walls while in bed by "accident." When he did finally fall asleep, he would bury himself under pillows and blankets and stuffed animals, I would have to unearth him. He also every few nights would go through night terrors, some pretty extreme. He would almost every night come to our bed early in the morning and sleep on top of me for the rest of the night affecting my sleep.
Since the cubby bed: He no longer fights us to sleep in his own bed at night. Most nights he falls asleep pretty fast, no longer comes back and forth to us. Having the camera, I have less worry about the burying and terrors because I have it on my phone at the side of my bed and I can glance over and not have to constantly get up and check on him affecting my own peace of mind and sleep. He probably comes to our bed late in the night 1 to 3 times a week now. I am still in shock when I wake up in the morning and he is not there!!!
Only had this bed about two weeks but I want one for myself now too! Another benefit to add is that he will go there to calm himself down to prevent a temper tantrum. His temper tantrums can get so bad where he actually can get violent, and we have had no moments like that since getting this bed. He feels safe and calmer with this bed now. I am so thankful! I recommend it to everyone who has kids with autism, sensory disorders, or physical problems to need it now.
